Well as usual, I could not make the MTF's timing on this ride...

So... Friday morning I will leave out on another 10/10ths attempt.

My ride plan:

West Palm Beach, FL to Whynot, NC

Whynot, NC to Why, AZ 50 hour limit

Why, AZ to Hyder, AZ transition ride

Hyder, AZ to Hyder, AK 2.4 days

Hyder, AK to Hyder, AZ (?) Undecided

Hyder,AZ to Why, AZ transition ride

Why, AZ to Whynot, MS 24 hour limit

Goals

Whynot 2 Why Cert.

Hyder to Hyder 2.4 Cert.

Why to Whynot Gold Cert.

10/10ths Cert.

Limit myself to 3 Motel stays

Get back into a riding frame of mind

Figure out short comings before the IBR

Find out if the '05 will be my ride in the IBR (215k)

have done very little planning as I want to ride and learn (The hard way

)

Sorry- I posted the '05 in an edit

"Royal Blue" has had issues on 2 of my last 3 rides, I will have 1 month from the finish of this ride to

prepare the '08 if the '05 fails this one.

As it is Tony, we'll just be missing each other on this ride. Wed. I head out to Alamo, NV via Yellowstone. Ride the NV shindig Sat/Sun and then head out to scoop up the rest of Utah and WY Tour Of Honor locations. So close yet so far. lol

Hmmm, not sure I agree. I lived in Fairbanks many years and have visited Hyder several times as well. I'm kinda fond of Fairbanks, but the ride into Hyder is hard to beat.

The atomic fireballs will be missing from this ride. Dentist bills have caused me to rethink them... they will be greatly missed.

My Quick disconnect has decided to give me grief in this late hour. Rethinking start time of early evening tomorrow. What makes

this ride frustrating is the fact that all start and finish locations are remote areas.
