Prolly....BUT....have all your deer whistles mounted, your Antlered Forest Rat detection on full alert and pray-seek mojo-get your stars aligned, etc., etc., etc.
The entire area is a haven for the coastal deer and they WILL ruin your day/evening/ride/motorcycle. We were up there in October and had 3 of them stand in the middle of the road watching us approach at around 0900.
AND...every road leading to Eureka (except Hwy 10 which is heavily patrolled by the CHP) is a long and very winding one. And they're extremely dark at night.
In other words, there isn't going to be much "speed burning".
Yup....typo, should'a been Hwy 101.Prolly....BUT....have all your deer whistles mounted, your Antlered Forest Rat detection on full alert and pray-seek mojo-get your stars aligned, etc., etc., etc.

WTF is Hwy 10? Lived here 55 years, and have never heard of HWY 10... Wrong end of the state.....
Maybe Hwy 101......
As a local, I will post a Highways info at a later date, for those not aware of the local roads, views and Elk type hazards and Autobahn zones

If you have ever seen how fast MM2 types you would understand the typo. His fingers are a blur. If he wasn't so big and ugly he would make a good secretary. OH! The lack of social skills might also be an issue :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:Yup....typo, should'a been Hwy 101.Prolly....BUT....have all your deer whistles mounted, your Antlered Forest Rat detection on full alert and pray-seek mojo-get your stars aligned, etc., etc., etc.

Posting while sick and drugged up.
Every time I've been up there has been a serious presence of CHP on Hwy 10, right Richard!?!?!?
I thought a warning about possibilities of close encounters with cloven hoofed antlered forest creatures was timely. There are many owners who ride where these occurrences are not part of their daily regimen.
Don't forget standing in the parking lot after the "Saddle Sore" chatting until the we hours of the morning never letting on that your ribs are broke. If there's a "Saddle Sore", it should named the "Brodie Challenge"!!! You have to bounce off at least oneelfmassive elk, lash you bags to the frame, continue on for 800 miles, go to shop to have some metal work straighten and welded, and then do a "Saddle Sore" :yahoo: :clapping: Any by the way have a broken rib or 2....
