Donal, yes I meant the micro switch. It isn't a relay. I should have checked that first but at least now I know how the whole thing works. Mcatrophy, yes the arm is order-able and one of cheaper parts for my total repair cost.
On the GenIII, there's no auto-retract, and no microswitches. It winds up or down when you tell it, when it hits the end-stop, the motor is stalled, sucking lots of amps.@$#%&*@# Microswitches!In the most Gen1's windshield motors includes mine,these @#$%&%#$@ microswitches is the reason where the auto retract mode has stopped working!![]()
