Windscreen adjustment motor troubleshooting

Donal, yes I meant the micro switch. It isn't a relay. I should have checked that first but at least now I know how the whole thing works. Mcatrophy, yes the arm is order-able and one of cheaper parts for my total repair cost.

In the most Gen1's windshield motors includes mine,these @#$%&%#$@ microswitches is the reason where the auto retract mode has stopped working!

And,i love this mode...!

On the GenIII, there's no auto-retract, and no microswitches. It winds up or down when you tell it, when it hits the end-stop, the motor is stalled, sucking lots of amps.

Personally, I'd much prefer to have those @$#%&*@# microswitches, and the option to have auto-retract.

Me too as i said!But when those microswitches works well without troubles..

Mama Yamaha knows the problem,so they have supersede those motors with a new part number as a spare part...
