WIndshield Measurements

I have a 2005 model, and I am readying the bike for a long ride this spring. A larger windshield is on the list. I have read a lot about the the benefits of 1-4 inch increases in height and width. However, are all stock FJR models years (through 2005) the same size windshield? If not, what is the baseline for increases. Any info will be appreciated.

I think generally if a windshield manufacturer says that's it's +3/+2 for example--it's 3 inches higher and 2 inches wider than stock for the '05 and '04 model years. I believe the '03 specifically was about 2 inches shorter stock than the '04 and '05.....so the same windshield would be 5 inches taller.

I bought a Cee Bailey's +4/+2 myself and at 6'4" I find it to be just right.
