Windshield now non-auto retract

My windshiel on my '04, 18k miles, has works fine , but has stopped auto- retracting when ignition is turned off. Always wanted it that way- electronically challanged, so never disconnected it. Should I worry? No warning codes- everything else seems normal. Has anyone else experienced this?

Got YES? If so take it to the dealer. It could be the jumper itself or it could be something else. Make them fix it. If you want to disable the retract it is easy. But make sure your dealer knows about the problem if it is still under warrenty.

I would fix it as well. We pay good money for YES....Why not use it.

Velvet Fog- It stops wherever I leave it, fully manual control. Think it's a good idea to use my YES though, will take it to dealer.

Well, at least you can adjust it. I'd exercise the YES. Let us know what your dealer finds.
