1 - Remove the two button-head socket screws which retain the windshield trim piece using a 3mm hex key:
2 - Slide the trim piece upwards a bit, then remove it.
3 - Remove the plastic scews which retain the windshield to the bracket using an appriate-sized Phillips bit. IIRC, there's 7 of these. Be careful, it's easy to damage the heads. The reason these screws are plastic is that they are designed to fail in case of a get-off, thereby minimizing damage to the windshield itself, other components, and the rider.
