Why I've been wearing out my Aerostich, Whitehorse Press, Dennis Kirk, Chapparal, etc. catalogs:

It's been a ***** of a winter here, folks.

I ordered my Winter Sucks mug yesterday.

If you can't laugh about it, you'd just go insane.

With the exception of the last ice storm you got, we had the same crap. It has been keeping my battery tender busy. Maybe February will be a better month for us????? To keep sane we have been planning our next trip...to the Black Hills and not during Sturgis.

Hang in there!!

I just can't believe all of this whining about the weather.
I just clicked your weather link. It's 67F their right now. It's -37C (-35F) here with the windchill right now.

That is to say. ITS 100F degrees colder here compared to there.

**** YOU I'M WHINING.

Please post pics... :D

I just figured out your forum name - You're not trying to say "FJR" while stuttering, it's while you're shivering.

We haven't had it easy, but you Iowans have been getting nailed this winter! (and not in the good way) Most of the storms have brushed southern MN, and put the bulls-eye on IA. My folks still live in Ft. Dodge, so I love hearing about how bad they have it.

No sane man curls. That 'sport' is reserved for those who've frost bitten their brain/testicallies multiple times. Well that and ice racing.

Currently 6 inches of snow and it's still comming down and is supposed to all night and all day tomorrow. Maybe another blizzard in Western NC

Yeah, it got cold again Wednesday night. All the way down to 42 or something. Had to put the liners back in the gear. Stupidly, I put the thermal as well as the lightweight, and by the time I got to work it was close to 50, and I was sweating in the gear.

True, winter sucks. You never know which set of gear to use at any given time. :D

Take today, for example. 70s in the day, and mid-60s after dark, but spotty rain. Do I wear rain gear or not? It's a gamble, but tonight I won. No rainsuit, and the bottom fell out while I was closing the garage door after getting home.
