Gotta love texas weather....cold and sunny. temps in the mid fifties. :D

I just got back in from blowing the snow off my driveway, and breaking the ice off my gutters, to read this.

Well, I gotta tell ya, this new snow blower I have now is FUN! It's a two cycle, single stage, ball of fun! The chute never clogs, and it's so fast I can almost jog behind it!

And - Breaking ice! So much fun to break stuff, yes. And, of course, you may not know the satisfaction of going from 22 degree weather to the intense heat that is created by my wood stove. Man, you guys in the warmer climates just don't get it. I pity you.

Umm... Anybody got a job available in one of those warmer climates? Just askin'..... Wife is in insurance, and I'm a chimney sweep.

1.) Lived 37 of my 48 years in the Northeast. Been there, done that, don't wanna do it again!

2.) Your wife will find work easy to come by in SoCal. You, on the other hand, are SOL as we would never think of burning wood in our look-at-me auxiliary heat production units so our emission expulsion orifices don't need cleaning.

3.) Two cycle? Huh?

Actually you'll want to stay away from socal....smog, traffic problems, fires, and the dodgers.

NORCAL is where you want to be.....awesome roads, better weather than socal, less traffic, more twisties, the BEST WINE, and NO DODGERS!!

Um, is that Homoland checking in? :p :D

Man this was w/out a doubt the best day so far this year for riding. A perfect ride into work, got parked in my assigned spot, got my gear off and stowed, had that goodie feelin going on inside and then it got even better. A chick in the same building who parks in the same garage pulled up and stopped, rolled down her window and proceded to advise me that is the best looking bike she had ever seen. Woohoo!! there was a time I would have jumped all over that opportunity, but I'm old and happily married now, I'd rather get a compliment on my bike anyday than to get hit on--my how times have changed. Went out for lunch, parked right up front and had 4 guys ask about my fjr, the usual stuff, they had never seen one before, liked it, how fast is it, etc. Spring in Mississippi has definately sprung. Hold on Radman and our other northern friends, it wont be long now, your just around the corner, two more weeks, tops, and you'll be there! :D :D :D :D

Sunny and mid seventies, here in the Heart of Dixe. Now, I just have those rednecks to dodge on the ride home. You know, the near toothless ones in primered pick-ups and seventy-something camaros.

But, we do claim credit for the invention of the TOOTH BRUSH. Had to be here, if it had been invented anywhere else, they would have called it a TEETH BRUSH.

:haha: Postwhoreous maximus avatar of shame.

...paying pentance...

It IS raining way up North here in Orangevale. I mean, I had to put my windshield up to keep the rain off of me! It only rains in the winter here. Heck, last night we got a severe weather warning for 40mph winds! LOL. In the Azores, we had to go to work unless the winds hit 80.

Rode to work again this a.m. Stopped at a light, and of all things a Harley pulls up and stops beside me never saw the guy coming. Think he was on a electraglide, middle age guy about 50+ never seen or met the guy before, new bike, loud pipes, I have a flip helmet and he has a skull cap. Conversation went something like this: me: good morning, great morning to be riding. him: it's cold. me: Cold? not me, beats riding to work in a car. him: not another word spoken. Flipped my helmet back down, waited on the light to change and let him go first. He had on a long sleeve shirt, leather vest, skull cap helmet and black leather boots and blue jeans--hell yea I bet he was cold. Me, I was wearing my Firstgear leathertex sport collection jacket and pants w/out the liner and full face helmet, I was comfy, he was pretty much a cold jerk.
