I have been looking for some wireless speakers for the house. Due to the configuration of the roof, running speaker wire to the back porch and garage is not an option. I have seen two different kinds in Best Buy, one was 99 dollars and the other was 199 dollars. I know that there are options out there but I have not been too successful in finding many. I know that some have to have batteries installed and some are rechargeable. I'm looking for your opinions on any models that you may have experience with. Thanks

Is this for entertaining or just for you own listening pleasure? The reason I am asking is that many of the wirless speakers / headsets have problems with:

1. Walls

2. Microwaves

3. Garage door openers.

Since I needed entertainment in my own working area, I just bought myself a good set of earbuds for my Archos 605.

Best regards from College Station.

I looked around and around, as I really wanted to set up a nice stereo for the pool we had built this summer. Until wireless technology gets a whole lot better, here's a picture of what I am using instead:

$225 Delivered, and best of all, my wife bought it for my 47th birthday! What more could an old fart want?!? Each speaker has it's own amp, plus the guitar amp, so it's a bit of a load to carry, but rocks our pool area quite well! :yahoo:

Shane,

It is mostly for personal but also light entertaining. I will not need to wake the neighbors just some music for area no larger than the garage.
