Folks-

I just wired up the 08 FJR with the following:

Hyper-lites

Centech AP-1 Fuse Block for switched power

PIAA 1100x driving lights

Powerlet accessory power

Datel volt meter

The good news... I've got a good setup with lights for safety, additional connections to add more farkles and aux power plug in my left panel. :yahoo:

The bad news... It was a freakin' pain in the arse to accomplish. Took me probably a total of 20 hours, destroyed the garage, took away from precious Pacific NW summer riding time, made me an' the wife fight, cut a few knuckles, scratched a fairing and now I lay awake a night wondering if the wiring is all setup properly so I won't get any gremlins down the road! Sheeeesh!

Here are some pics of the garage. I'm going to post some more detailed pics of the wiring in a few days.

Enjoy!

I'd really like to add some Powerlets to my bike and perhaps some additional lights. This kind of thing just scares the hell out of me, though.

I find that the work and time "lost" that could've been spent riding ends up being worth it. Good job.
