I'm the one on the right.
Is Ron for Ronda or Ronald?

Would that be your right, looking into the camera? or my right looking at the picture? :bleh: :haha: :haha: :haha:
Actually, I'm only Rhonda when I put on a bra and panties. :D

The 'other' party is my bride of 35 years. That's a testimony for her perseverence! I attached one of those magnets to her to keep her from aging. Should have used it for myself.

Ronnie ;)

Oh, yeh, I'm a geek and proud of it. We have to take a geek self-esteem course so we can go out in public. :D
Problem is that Bill Gates is a geek, and he has billions! I'm a geek and I have...a mortgage, car loans and tuition to pay for a kid in college. :(

Oh, and this is what a geek looks like, just so you can recognize one. I'm the one on the right.

Those are my glasses to take care of deficiencies of my 58 year old eyes.

Actually, I'm only 5'9". My wife is 5', so I look so much bigger by comparison. The photo is from two years ago, at only 56 years old. I was about 250 lbs at the time. I'm now a svelte 220.

I've heard stories about that type of thinghy-magiggy (not only for bikes, but also for cars). As I understand it, the original intention was to prevent solid debris caused by old rusting tanks from reaching the carburetor (or Fuel Injectors). Rumor has it that, as a side effect, the magnetic polarization applied to the gasoline molecules helps to improve the efficiency of the combustion, thus improving gas mileage. I have no idea whether this is true or not; I am not aware of any test data that could back this up. This is just what I’ve heard about it.
$84 for a magnet is waaayyyyy too much.
Hydrocarbon (gasoline) molecules are non-polar in nature - they don't have a positive and negative end (like water does). Magnets would do absolutely nothing to hydrocarbon molecules.

Ron
Well, that takes care of the magnetic claims. Next thing, you'll tell us that the FJR already has a fuel filter.

Unreal!!!! This magnet on the fuel line has been around for years in different forms.

It sort of goes along with the TV antenna booster, the cell phone antenna booster and the deer warning noise makers you put on your car bumper. A recent university study showed that the deer warning noise makers produced a very audible sound OUTSIDE the frequency range of deer! :p

The marketers of these things set the price just low enough that people will try them without a lot of questioning. :agent:
