Clunking into first is normal on a cold bike. Just pull the clutch in for 10-15 sec before shifing into first when you fire it up and you shouldn't clunk.

On the RPM thing, do you have the right size tires mounted? I know tire diamiter can make a difference.

I always ride at 4000rpm on the highway, and the spedo says 75mph ... haven't checked it for error yet however.
@4000 RPM she doing 80 MPH, MUST BE TRUE, THE BLACK ONES ARE THE FASTEST :yahoo:

HmmTires?

Im not sure? There is the original sticker on the bike that list I think tire pressure & Tires?

This sticker like the rest of the bike looks new. Any way I will have to check my tires tomarrow?

Just what are my options on Tire size? Its an 04 FJR. You know the frame Vin sticker said its a 03?

But Title was 04? Don't understand that at all.

Good point on tire size. Thanks!
