I am looking for an clean 07-08 FJR with average miles and nice maintenance records. I'm a mechanic and anal when it comes to that- sorry. Cash in hand

Thanks

As a 07 owner I think the 08 or 09 platform is a bit better a bit of an up grade to the Trany and and a better throttle response. Don't get me wrong I have 90,000 miles on my 07 but have ridden the later and they are smoother. Well all except Zilla's. :)

I have an '08 garage queen that is still waiting its turn (Sitting in the garage under a bike cover), but it is SO farkled up that it might be out of your

price range. It has 34k on the clock and way too much pampering. My '05 just will not give up the duties of work horse. I am eyeing a '16.

Maybe consider going to an 09. Unless that color doesn't do it for you. Some people just dont like Raven. I believe last time I checked there was one in Hagerstown.

Thanks for all the input. I had read about the trany and throttle upgrades in the 08 & 09's. Good to know that it made that much of a difference. I thought that I also saw that the ECU was upgraded in the 09 as well due to an altitude compensation issue. Sounds like I may have to take a hard look at the 08 and 09. Now if I could just get one in Dark Cherry.

I have found a 2011 with just over 6000 miles on the clock. excellent condition with factory trunk. I think it can be had for $7500. After looking at KBB and NADA plus the listings on cycle trader it looks to be a pretty good deal. Am having some additional pics sent before going to have a look. If it is as clean as they say it is I'll have a very nice ride home

Only problem I see is it isn't the Black Cherry color , but the price doesn't sound bad.so that makes the color better! :)
