I have a 1 piece suit made by Motoport a few years ago at the Cycle World Motocycle show. (Not the same Motoport/Cycleport that does the Kevlar suits now). Needs minor re-stitch for about 2 inches along the zipper area, probably would pass tech as is, but I would repair it before racing. I am 6-2, 220. Never been down, armoured elbows, hips, knees. It does have the back padding inside, but I recommend using the separate one you put on first such as pictured at the bottom. I don't remember how thick the leather is, but it is thicker than what they used in my Dianese suit. Has the knee pucks. $200 + shipping. Just been hanging in my garage for the last two years not being used.
