Does anyone out there have an Airhawk gathering dust in the garage they'd like to part with? Size "medium cruiser".

I have one, I will have to check the box when I get home to be sure it is the medium cruiser size you desire though.

Why would You want one?

The Air Hawk is a stop gap measure to getting a better seat.

Spend the money and get a Russel.

Cheaper in the long run.....

Sorry, forgot to mention that I won't be home till Friday

I'm home. The Airhawk I have is the cruiser medium, neoprene with cover model, in the box with all the original paperwork that came with it. It is in very good condition. Make an offer.

Edit*** The boss saw me getting the box together and asked what I was doing with it, she asked if she should have it on her bike... so sale suspended until the wife tries it and decides to keep it or not.

Sorry, but she is the boss after all.

Yes, I agree entirely. However, the downtime necessary to get a RDL is not going to work for me this summer. I'd rather ride on an Airhawk temporarily then send my seat off over the winter when I'm not going to be able to ride.

I got one of those bosses too....

In defence of the AirHawk, I have been using the pylon one on several FJR's and find them very comfortable. Depending on the size of your posterior, the pylon size is a great fit on the stock FJR seat. It does not increase your reach to the ground in the event you have a less than 31" inseam.

I picked up an "R" version locally on CL today. Seems to fit the FJR seat pretty well but I've only put 40 miles on it so far.

I agree that the Airhawk is a stop gap, but it took me a while to steal enough of my kids milk money to finally get a RDL. And that is the exact reason I purchased the Airhawk in the first place, a temporary fix. The Airhawk served its purpose very well, allowed me to ride further than with the stock seat for sure! And if you get all the bells and whistles in the RDL, it can be upwards of a grand.

While an Airhawk is 1/4 of that and will get you by for an ice cream season or two until you can get the RDL.

I would still recommend getting one to others.... If they cant afford an RDL that is.

I just scored an air hawk @ a neighbor's garage sale for $3.00. The issue? I'm going to need to add the straps to it. It has none.
