So here I was proud of myself and managed to get a an Audiovox CCS-100 before they jumped outrageously in price. I got it back in December and when the box came, I didn't think anything of it and put it next to all my other to-do stuff for the bike when it warmed up. Well as that time was approaching, I thought I had everything all set. When I opened the box, I noticed that one of the corners of the box was slightly opened. It appears that hole was big enough to allow the switch panel to fall out.

I'm rather pissed at myself since I didn't bother to do this when I might have been able to do something about it. Now Audiovox prices have gone up, and I think all I need is the stupid switch. Or give me a good alternative. I'm open to suggestions. Just looking for some help. I think at this point I'm still so annoyed/frustrated/pissed off, I'm not thinking straight. Hoping someone has a good suggestion or maybe has an Audiovox cruise setup that was mostly damaged in a wreck or something along those lines.

Help is appreciated.

Tim

Why don't you try calling Audiovox and explaining the problem, the control switches fell out of the box or were not included in your purchase maybe they will "goodwill" you the part, or you might be able to purchase just the control switch from them.

first of all YOU ARE NOT AN *****...sometimes we are just unaware and I don't even call it a mistake...nobody is all knowing and all perceptive

now, what's the fix...those two toggle switches are a good, cheap alternative and quite a few here swear by them

I wonder is someone who went that route has their spare control pad available

If I had the switches installed and working to my satisfaction, I'd be happy to let my control pad go

there's two control pads on ebay, but the buy it now is $55

Amazon is $65

Here's a Control Pad at Auction CLICKY

If it's just the control pad that you need, I didn't use mine and may still have it.

Edit: Sorry, can't find it i must have thrown it out at the last garbage day.

As mentioned previously, just put 'em in the switch pod. Click on the thumbnails for a better view. Ignore the crappy soldering job. See Brundog's post here.

Wire colors are the actual Audiovox harness wires. Gray and black wires are unused; they were for the led's in the oem control pad. I toyed with the idea of drilling a hole for the indicator light, but the led's were tiny surface mount types and it wasn't worth the bother to figure a way to include them.

digikey mom off mom switch

on off switch

boot for on off switch

And someplace I have the PN for rocker switch boot cover.

Ultra convenient location viz a viz usability.
