I've got some brackets used to mount my 10 lb/ea PIAA driving lights on my now gone Gen I. We are heading out for a full day ride right now, I'll get back to ya. These brackets have a stabilizing arm that wraps around the fairing and it makes them a real solid mount. Pictures later will save a lot of words right now.

Edit: Surprise, I found some pictures from when I converted to LED lights. The V Strom hand guards in the background make it hard to really see the brackets.

Well, back from our July 4th ride about. Lots of miles, lots of good food, lots of nice New England scenery.

On the one hand, the brackets are quite rare, plus they are the ones with the inside faring brace making them quite valuable.

On the other hand, there is little demand for this kind of light bracket for the increasingly rare Gen I, they are used and no longer shiny, making them almost without value.

I'm so confused.

Let's just call it 'for the cost of shipping' and a pay it forward obligation. It looks like shipping will be about $9.00, when I have a mailing address I'll post 'em, bill you and give you either a PayPal link or give you a check mailing address. Ok?

If Audio decides not to take them I will.

You are next in line.

I'm glad to see that they will be going to a good home someplace. The brackets held my PIAAs with nary a vibration and the brackets never noticed the lightweight LEDs.

Do you know or remember where you purchased these brackets? I am also in search for similar.
Sorry, the brackets came with the used PIAAs I bought sometime around '05. The brackets may have been made by a former Forum member to handle heavy weight Soltek aux lights. You may want to try 08FJR4ME and see if Dave has anything for Gen I lights.
