Wanting to purchase a Kenwood 3101 GMRS-FRS two way radio. Must be in perfect working condition. Also needs to have all factory settings. Thanks Smitty

It is a fair request.

The TK3101 is the FRS/GMRS radio of choice for Autocom systems. And bikers are the main users for Autocom systems. Unfortunately it is out of production and the replacement isn't quite as good.

Military specification, 2 watts, supports an external antenna, very sensititive, rugged as can be and very high quality. Expensive, too. They seem to go on Ebay in the $100 to $300 range, depending on condition and the mood of the market.

Canvassing us is a good way to find one - That's how I got mine.

I don't use mine these days. But I'm not selling it at this time.

The TK-3200LP is amazing, if you can get your group using that freq band. The radios are easier to get ahold of, and I can attest that they work extremely well around mountains, and in LOS situations, 3-4 miles easily.
