Must be a running theme, I purchased my 05 two months ago for a reduced price and in the same condition.

Same story,claimed he was trying to teach his wife to ride,but she didnt do so good. But ditto on reduced price,figure i can replace bags & mirrors,&still got a pretty good deal on a great bike.

Whatcha doin with the old bags? Are the mounts still intact? Do they seal well? Small scratches don't bug me.

I have a left bag that my son scratched. I have taken the lock and moved it to my new bag. Scratch isn't that bad, but bad enough for me(5 inches long and about the width of a pencil. Let me know if you interested. I can send you a pic.

If i can find a nice set ill probably be gettin rid of mine.Right side worst shape,still seals alright,but gap seems a little larger between bottom & top.Ill let you know if i find any. bird

Bags seal fine for me. Although the left side has a crack in the inner case, but no leaks.
