WTB Rusty Chain

I know this is a real long shot but I am looking for about 20' of rusted chain preferably 1/2 " or larger proof 30 chain. I am using it to hang between 3 highly polished black granite posts in front of my son's memorial monument. I can order chain but it all comes through galvanized or with a coating that inhibits rust....I need it rusty from the start. PM if you can help out. Thanks for looking.

Buy what ya want and soak it in muriatic acid a few times...

Then just wait....

It's the stuff that rusts everything out when ya make meth....

You can get it in the swimmin pool section at the hardware store....

Check around any boat yards or marinas. When I was in the boat biz we used to throw it away when it got to rusty to replate it.

I vote for the chemical aging :skull: technique. If you can't rust age it in less than a week, ping me.

Great suggestion! I guess that will be easier and safer than dragging it behind my truck for a week and then soaking it in salt water....
