Looking for a right-handed cruise control mount for my Audiovox setup. I really like the Skyway mount, but doesn't appear those are available anymore. So if anyone has one they want to sell, I'm interested.

Thanks,

Tim

Yeah, It's too bad another CNC machinist has not filled the vacuum when Skyway departed the forum...

Available in a RH config.

Murphs

Not as glitzy as the Skyway, but much cheaper, and you're much more likely to actually get it.

I had a RH configuration from Murphs. Either I got the wrong thing, or I'm not smart enough to figure out how it was supposed to mount. I'd happily go with Murphs if someone can show me how it mounts.

I believe that WynPro/08FJR4ME has stepped in with some nice products. If there is somethin' that needs a makin' it might be worth while to ping him. I'm pretty sure that one project he will not take on is an Aux Fuel Cell mount :glare: :dribble:

As far as mounting the Murphs Kits AVCC -- there is the Right way and the Left way. The Left way is plug-n-play using the already tapped left side mirror hole. The Right way on Gen II is harder. The Gen II right side mirror mount is NOT factory drilled and tapped. DesignFlaw06, you would need to drill and tap the stub for the right side mirror. Ironically, is the lack of drilling and tapping by Yamaha a Designflaw?

The Gen I control pod on the right side is drilled and tapped, but it is reverse threaded to keep the mirror (when used) from coming loose with wind pressure. If Designflaw06 drills and taps himself he can then use a conventional right handed tap and bolt.
