I need a steering head socket. Wild Hair Accessories has to order them, and I might see it about four weeks later. I'm MUCH too impatient for that

Anyone have either a "Just Roy" socket laying around they don't want anymore, or the traditional Y&L, or something?

I know Roy has moved on from this chapter in his life, and I hope he's still healthy. Was there ever any movement on possibly someone else picking up where he left off? I know there was this thread a while back: https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?showtopic=137027&st=0

I'd like to eventually get one in my toolbox, but if anyone would be willing to let me borrow or rent theirs so I can service my bike in the meantime, that would also be most appreciated! Of course, I can pay shipping both ways, and even a nominal rental fee.

i have one. i'm not willing to sell it. if you'd like to borrow it send me a PM. i can get it out the door tomorrow.

wonder if WynPro guy could make 'em ???

I'm in the process of making my own from a 1 1/4" socket. It's simple and anyone with an angle grinder and a dremel can do it with a little patience. I'll post a write up when I get it finished.

How did this project work out? I'm interested in making a similar steering head tool.

Thanks, Philip
