Just traded in 05 on a 13. Looking to upgrade seating arrangements. Let me know if for some reason you are willing to part with your reasonably priced, reasonably good condition custom aftermarket seat for the Gen II FJR. Perhaps business can be transacted.

Nick you gotta be on the ball around here.....you missed one that went up for sale at 4.11pm...

I have a leather cover rider and pillion saddle made by Billy Mayer,Ojai CA.. It is siler and black leather and is perfect for my 2006 AE silver color, by the way the same as the 2013 FJR. I put about 1K miles on it. It is in perfect condition. I am a reasonable LDR and willing to help out other riders, especially FJR owners.

PM me if interested.

One of the things that make a custom seat Custom is that it is built for your weight and body dimensions. If you are 5.8' and 170 lbs and buy a seat built for a guy with a 34" inseam that weights 280 lbs there is a pretty good chance that the seat won't approach the fit and comfort it should for you. Buyers, size up the seller.

Nick,

I have a Corbin heated rear seat for a Gen2. There is one small tear (1/4" long) in the leather in the back along the bottom of the seat where it wraps under the pan. I have been trying to sell it casually for a while. It has about 500 miles on it from a 120 lb woman. I am asking $250 but would be willing to negotiate a little.

Reply and let me know if your interested.

True enough. I purchased a "custom" seat from someone in 2010 for my 05 FJR; we were of similar stature and weight and it worked fine. I am not overly picky about these things, and figured I could just determine if it was the right match based on dialogue with a would-be seller.
