Gen2's platform are pretty much the same so one manual covers multiple years, think about it what's changed on Gen2's besides color

It looks like it has never even been used. When I take possession of my new to me bike first order of business is a new rear tire. Wanted the manual to make sure there are no surprises when I go to remove the wheel.

It's the putting back on were the surprises pop up. The ABS cover has a notch to keep it from roatating that needs to be aligned when putting the wheel back on, take a good (picture) look at it while it is still on. Also, note the sequence of washers and covers on the right end of the axle before removing anything. When the nut is off the axle look at the right end of the axle and observe gaps and spaces so you know what it should look like when putting it all back together. FWIW, I find it much easier to do the deed with the transmission in gear, it facilitates getting the wheel aligned with the splines on the drive.

+1 to all of the above. Additionally I pull the rear wheel up onto a 2x4 so I can put 1/2"-3/4" under the center stand. Getting the wheel in and out can be a PITA but a little more height makes it mucho gooder.
