I live 100 yards from my business and keep the bike in a secure garage at the back of the business. I was in the garage, just finishing off wiring in my Tomtom and buttoning back up the fairing, when my son who was helping noticed 2 shady characters on the car park of the business opposite. I stepped out of the garage to look by which time they had walked 30 yards or so to the end of the street where they continued to loiter. They were about 17 and dressed as if they didnt want to be recognised with hoods and caps.
Just then one of my guys pulled into our car park and got out of his car, he looked at me to say hi and I gestured towards these 2. They saw me do it and both started hurling abuse at us both. We are both over 6' and would have made mince meat out of these 2 scrawny **** heads. We decided to ignore them as the business would be an obvious target if we aggitated them more. We stood talking and they continued but by now louder, threatening to raid the garage tonight, as they were getting no response. Eventually a stone flew over and landed harmlessly near by. We looked round and they were gone.
I would never have dreamed of being so hostile when I was their age, to anyone, let alone 2 older guys twice my size. It worries me that should someone come accross them when the circumstances were more in ther favour what might happen.
I have now had to park a company vehicle across the doors of the garage. The doors are all steel lined and the garage is brick built so the likeleyhood of them getting in is slim. Even so, I would be mortified if the ******** got in and damaged my bike, or stole my tools.
