Awhile back I did some repair work on this older GMC Pickup..

Seriously there is no way in hell you can do this intentionally with a DA Sander. I've manned one on an off for 30 years.

I'm still afraid of the damned thing... what's next Jesus?

I'm an engineer in a production facility where all surface prep is done with $&*%ing D/A sanders. At least once a year I threaten to disposition a non-conformance with corrective action of 'Apply large hammer to D/A sander at high rate of speed'. Hate the dang things. Next best tool to a belt sander for eating more material than you intend.

1st A DA is only as good as the operator.. Buddy can make a surface as flat as glass or as curved as Raquel Welch. It's a talent that takes years to master.

No Fish, it's a GM product.. It just rusted apart.

I see a cow mike but yes.. My livestock fetish has very narrow boundarys

Well You did a piss poor job, no wonder Buddy came back for Warranty work. If you would have done that poor of a job on My Vehicle, I would kick your ***, several times.

But then You would probably enjoy that, cause your kinda a sic ***.
