So I did the Trooper mod. Great instructions, one of the easiest, quickest mods I've ever done.
I like it but don't love it. I actually love the popping on decel, but it's the rest of the package that I don't like so much.
If anyone is contemplating doing this, and your pipes are PRISTINE (mine are scratchless with 5K on them), I'll do a swap with you and save you the cost of the tools and the time to do the mod. If you're within 200 miles of 02904, and you're willin', I'll meet up with ya halfway and we can wait until the pipes cool down and I'll do the swap right there in the parking lot of wherever. And I'll even buy you lunch while we wait for them to cool down. Such a deal!
The only caveat is that if we agree to do this, you commit to it. If you don't love the sound when I pull in to the meet-up spot, you're still committed. That's fair, right?
