Looking for Yamaha heated grips, but would consider Hot Grips heated grips. I believe the Hot Grips should be model 525-875. I only need the grips, the controller is fine. I'm replacing heat tapes that haven't cut it for winter riding. I have a strong aversion to paying what Yamaha thinks they are worth 
The heat tapes draw the same current as the grips but only get 10% of the heat to the hands. I insulated under the tapes and the bars do not get hot, but neither do my hands.
