anyone ever ride one of these or have friend that has any thoughts on this? Seems like it might be a good cruise the beach bike with some giddyap .

Steve;

I have a friend how has one and loves it. He had a Triumph Speed Triple (Sport Naked),

Aprillia RS1000, so he knows about go power. He has had it three years now which is the longest he has had any road bike. (He also has dirt bikes so he licks the two wheeled machines!)

For what that's worth.

I had one for almost a year. (an '05)

It is a lot of fun. Handles like a sport bike with a very long wheelbase.

Lots of low end torque but not a lot of high end as you would expect with a big V twin.

awesome bike! but i am biased as i have an '02. i think i have the best of both cruising and touring worlds with the warrior and the fjr! check out https://www.rswarrior.com/ for all the warrior info you could ever want. B)

Yup, I had a Warrior for about 18 months. Great bike. You won't fing another aircooled twin in stock form that will come close to it, especially in the twisties.

A competent rider of one can shered twisties. Without a windshield, speeds beyond 80 will tire the rider quickly.

With aftermarket exhaust, the beast emits an awesome sound.

+1 on that link to RSWarrior.com A really fine site which you can actually cruise when your kids are around as you get warning B4 going somewhere non kid safe.

What a concept.

My dad has an '04 Warrior and we switch off quite a bit. It's a blast to ride - not as fast as the Feejer, but it's got a ton of 'grunt'. I tell dad that I have a jet fighter and he has a tractor. He's getting a PCCommander for Christmas, so we'll see how that helps out with the top end.

The only complaint that I had about it is the styling of the pipes - I don't care for the hige coffee can pipes that are stock. We put a set of Bubb slash-cut pipes on it in the summer and it improved the looks immensely.

So yea, thumbs up here also.
