They finally updated their site.. some new WaveRunners.
Pass the Sour Mash.
What the hell are Canadians gonna do with WaveRunners? Put 'em in hot tubs or something? Sheesh - everyone knows that it's always cold and snowy up nort, eh?

They work pretty at this time of year in my backyard
Words from a guy who doesn't even have a working FJR.. have you even RIDDEN it this season?! I think you spent all winter mocking up that thing in your garage out of used sani-wipes and snot just so you'd have an excuse to ride a kawasaki @ CFR.

Really now, the largest FJR meet north of the 49th parallel and the Rallymaster shows up riding a scooter!

Smile, it's dogpile Friday!

I dunno...I looked in the sportbike section and saw the 2011 Fazer and FZ8, along with several 2011 off road models in the off road sections. Maybe my computer is special?

Whilst talking to the Yamaha Rep regarding WCR, he said there is to be a new Sport Tour announced in Sept that isn't just a cheap assed re-work of the FZ1....I am waiting, but skeptical.

Can't be the FZ8 as that was announced a month or so back.

A new TDM based on the new 1200 Teener has been making the rumor mill

Nope.....Andre was already bugging me about the Fazer8 as an addition to my FZ6 and FJR. He seems to think I should have 1 of each.....600, 800, 1000 and FJR

Then we started talking about the announcement in Sept

WOOHOO! It's official, the Super Tenere is coming to Canada!

To bad I don't want one.

No change for the 2011 FJR.. Oh, look, it's silver!

Super Tenere $13,000 in the USA, no pricing yet for us Canucks but the FJR is listed at $15490 US vs $20,199 so probably around $18,000 CDN.

Then you have to add the bags so probably a wash.

The most important detail is still absent: How much $$

At almost 600 lbs wet it is giving the GS a run for the porkiest dirt bike award. ;)

[edit] Bug beat me to the price punchline

Next bikes in the hunt for me (whenever.. no rush) Triumph Tiger/Sprint, C14 or if they ever update the Gen II but not holding my breath on that one, their is no GenII in the cards for me. Massively flakey. Rumors keep circulating of a Yammie WR450R. I'd love a dual purpose, but after spending nearly 20 years off road, their is NO CHANCE IN HELL of ever seeing me ride a 600lb bike with knobbies.

Triumph two new ADV bikes are looking interesting as well but for $ for $ the missus's Versys is impressing the hell out of me.

I've got a 19" front wheel conversion project for the winter, with some proper off road tires it will be a very capable machine.

https://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products...51/0/specs.aspx $13,900 in the US. Damn good price and will directly compete with the BMW R1200GS at that price. Still 75 lbs. heavier than a GS!!!
