Oki, I live less than a mile from Pats stadium, we should ride together some time!

I went and looked at a '13, threw my leg over it and stuck those legs out and found out how sharp the point is on the swept back part of the fairing on each side, OUCH!

On my '09 FJR I have cruise bars for my legs to stretch out on long rides and when I use them the fairing at that point just bumps against my legs halfway up my foreleg, right on the bone, but its not bad. When I put my feet in the same position on the '13 I discovered that the point on the fairing is sharper and more painful, seems to be a bit father back, not to my liking. Anybody got any cruise pegs on their '13 yet?

Yes, the fairings are in the way a bit AND you will kick up a ton of wind onto your torso. However, it does give you another place to put your legs for a spell and should even provide some cooling on those HOT summer days we all know are coming.

Funny when I saw the picture of the bike all shrink wrapped I noticed the spare tire for the trailer. Thought you already procured a a new rear tire and you would be the first to darkside the 13.

So you're the one that bought my bike!I called Harding the Monday after you bought it and they said it just left for Maryland Saturday...in shrink wrap.I missed it by that much.

Oh well,as these things seem to do,everything worked out fine.I found another one at a dealer about 30 miles from where I live that gave me a good deal.Since the weather and roads are crappy right now, they're gonna store it until I want to go get it...helps somewhat with the lusting over it at home.

I like your taste in bikes...congrats on the new bike.

If she ever wants to come back to her buckeye roots, drop me a pm and I'm sure we could find some fun roads to play on.

Heh heh. Guilty! Glad you found another one. I had put down a deposit 2 weeks before and wasn't able to come pick it up until then.

So far I've been able to put 135 miles on her in between snow, sleet and rain.

Here she is with newly installed Givi E55 and admore lighting.

Congratulations, great choice.

I've owned an '08 VFR800, an '04 RT, ridden a friend's ST 1300, and test rode the VFR 1200. And of course, I own an '08 FJR. I think you made the right choice. Oh, and also own a ZX-14, great engine, but I still prefer the FJR over the C 14 for sport touring.

I managed to put another 800+ on mine this weekend, heated grips are nice in 30 degree weather.....
