Went to Yosemite last weekend with a good friend of mine… weather was beautiful, dogwoods in full bloom, and it was surprisingly un-crowded given all the passes just opened and it was Mother’s Day weekend… a few of the views…
The waterfalls were flowing…
Dogwoods were blooming…
Bees were busy…
Used to call the dandelion fluffs “fairies” when I was a kid…
Flowers reaching for the sun…
Children were wading…
Gnarly tree, dude…
El Capitan to the left, Bridalveil Falls to the other left…
Catching a rainbow…
Luckily it’s not flooded…
First viewpoint at Glacier Point…
Second viewpoint at Glacier Point looking out at Half Dome…
Half Dome…
Back down on the valley floor as the sun started to set…
If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend getting up there before the schools get out and the place is crawling with visitors… no matter how many times I visit Yosemite, there is always something new and wonderous to see… get out and git ya some! B)
