I do believe that I would totally ride that! :dribble:
Not if I beat you to a pulp and get to it first!!! MINE!! Dude. I'd be all over that like white on rice. That's about the only thing I'd want to ride more than Rossi's M1.

Dude, I wonder how much it would cost to BUILD one like that? Shouldn't be too difficult to find a crashed Gixxer. Squids all over love 'em!

Definatly digging the retro look almost as much as the new 'old' Norton commando B)

Very nice!

My best buddy had a '79 GS1000S back in the day. I later had a '82 GSX1000S Katana.

I saw Wes Cooley riding the Yoshimura Superbike at Daytona.

Did the Rockstar Makita Yoshimura team really put a Red Bull can on the bike? WTF.

I like the idea, but the new bikes just don't take to naked very well.

I would love to own this bike,,,, so I could fix it the poor thing.

Sorry... that head light asm just looks stupid on this bike.

It looks like they just pulled it out of the scrap heap and zip tied it on a wrecked gixxer.

None of the lines match the bike at all. Not even the painted ones!!!!

A beautiful high dollar bike runed with stupid bolt ons.

A soda can? Really..... A soda can? On a $40K machine.

I guess that is a turn on for the rat bike crowd....

It is obviously a non-street legal track bike.

So, what's with having a headlight but no turn signals?

Why even have a headlight?

Having the oil cooler up against the header, ....brilliant !......

I assume that is an issue with the custom header?

Radiator mounting is completely ignored.

It looks like they forgot there was a radiator until the last minute, and threw it back on..

Perhaps some radiator cowlings from a wrecked FZ-1 would have fixed it?

Just zip tie them on there just like the headlight.

I hate being the decenting nay sayer.

It takes more than stunning carbon fiber with an unlimited budget to create art.

I've got to agree with Brent. This looks far too much like something I would make with a mail-order JCWhitney fairing after I ditched my Gixxer and fubared my plastics.

<in drunken red-neck voice>

Hell, you don't need all them stinkin' plastic bits. We can get a fairing from JCWhitney for $69.95 and just make a "nekkid" bike out of it. Hold my beer and watch this...

But the original was/still is a beauty:

It was known as the "Barry Sheene Replica" and I was lucky enough to borrow one from my friend, Rollie, and ride it from Miami to Daytona and back for the Daytona 200 races in the early '80s. The fairing had small gauges built into the inner panel (factory) -- one was a cylinder head temp. gauge. I was amazed to see the needle march right up the gauge when-ever lots of throttle was applied.

I always wanted one..... :(

The original is still the **** ! And the '85 GSXR750....and...but this thing looks like something Godzilla threw up after eating a Vstrom/SV1000/Bimoto sangwitch with bad mustard....its like catchin grandpa in drag.....its just wrong man...wrong....

Owned my '79 S for 25 years. Put 90k miles on it in the first 15yrs, after which it was just

taken out occasionally after I bought an ST1100. Sold it a couple of years ago for about

what I paid for it it new. Will always be my favorite.
