After 8 hours of sitting at work my bike fired up with one bar on the temp gauge. After 3 weeks of 100+ temps, I'm ready for some Fall/Football weather!

Russ: This string of heat seems more brutal than any I can remember since arriving to OK in the early 90's.

Mr Bill: Still have lots of family up in MA/NH/VT (born in Tewksbury). I'm hoping to make the trip on the FJR instead of the SUV this fall.

61 degrees riding around Seattle yesterday. Had the grip warmers on and a gator.

It was 100 when i rode through OK City last month. Couldn't get through there fast enough. Yeeeouch you boys like it hot.

You know its hot when you turn the ignition switch on the first time to warm up your bike, and its already at full operating temperature. 110 thats spring a fall temps in Lake Havasu!

Really envy you guys. Over here in Singapore, the temperature is always 1 bar above the mid level. Get stuck in traffic and you will feel the heat in between your thighs from the spinning radiator fan. <_<

We don't really "like it"! Then again I well be riding "almost" all winter.

Scotty's lucky, he's only 3 or so hours from a year round playground...

:)

AWe....that sucks. Out here in Cali in the northern Bay Area, we've had sooo many days between 72 and 78 I cant even REMEMBER when it was 90 last. Well..until Sunday, Sunday it was 92, today it was 96. But....back to the 70's by Friday.

So...yes....NEEENER NEEEENER NEEEEENER

Not that I really care. I hate this state, its Politics, its leadership and its people.
