used to be people just talked to other people when they had an issue to see if they could work it out - what happened to that?
It unfortunately usually leads to confrontation....& somebody ends up wetting their pants.... :eek:

Leave a note stating:

Dear fellow motorcyclist;

Your motorcycle was so closely parked to mine that when I mounted mine to leave, I accidentally knocked yours over. Very sorry. It doesn't appear to have done any damage.

After that little note, he will be continually and obsessively aware of his bike parking proximity. And just for kicks, you can rest assured that he will spend the next two weeks inspecting his bike for the scratches when it "fell over".

Disclaimer: Don't actually knock it over. The mind game will be sufficient.

On further consideration you might want to get a look at this person before you proceed. It might just be this gal:

That might just change everything...

Scab's got the best idea so far :good:

Add some "Roman Chariot" spikes to your ride? Or a proximity alarm that scream at him when he dismounts!

I would start parking on my center stand. If I understand the parking situation correctly that should leave you a straight shot to pull out. Then, in agreement with FJRMGM, I would politely let the offender know that they are causing a problem. It is most likely a simple lack of situational awareness.

I agree that it may be simple lack of awareness. It strikes me though, if you're pulling his bike out to get yours out, why put it back? Just pull it out and leave it out, with a note on it saying that if he values the privilege of parking with the rest of the bikes he needs to learn to park properly (maybe even draw a picture of how it's supposed to be done, just in case, never can tell these days). But I do like Scab's idea too :clapping:
