i've seen a lot of wringing hands in other venues (even The Daily Show and The Colbert Report) about Time's choice. while i can't dissagree with their points, i thought that, at least within the fjr community, it was a strong affirmation of how the contributions of everyone have lead to the very quick assention of a strong community for the model. many other model-based communities are this strong only after decades of having the model out (Wing, Connie). some models never have this kind of support... ever.

I've been hanging with this crowd for nigh on 2 years, going back to the sleazy-board days. Haven't found anything remotely like it

in other communities.
