Just wanted to check and see if anyone from the forum here is entered next weekend to the Your Not Superman Rally. I am heading down after a pertial day of work from St. Louis on Thursday.

Wanted to do that, works just to nuts to schedule anything right now.

I know you guys are going to have a great time with it, had a first person blow by blow of last years rally. I'm hopeing I can do it next year.

We just signed up for the 12 hour - hopefully we won't be too late to join. This will be our first rally, seems like an excellent way to get our feet wet. Trying to talk some friends in the area into joining us.

I`ll be there around noon thursday. 30 hour; two-up. However, the FJR will be at home

We`ll be on the wingabego

Well how are you guys doing on routing. It is hard trying to even decide which direction to travel.

Good Luck and I'll see you all in Cape.

Also put on a new tire this weekend to get ready. I heard that its good to have fresh rubber!!

Heading out 13:27 CDT to get to check in.

Here is a link to my spot page if anyone wants to check it out.

The rally is over, and my old buddy got his mug on there web site. I am sure this purdy FJR belongs to Big Mike Mehaffy.

I thought a rally bike should be bug gut covered, and nasty. :clapping: Smitty

Heres a link, it is posted on the 12 hour, but Mike road the 30 hour because 12 hour rallies are for *******...

Look at Mike's mug here!!!

Congrats to all you finishers. I believe you were all fighting some serious heat.

I'm thinking that NSR gets on my schedule next year, especially if I can't do Beat in the East. How'd you guys like the show? The RM's I've met seem like they'd do a great job.

Congrats all you finishers! Nice run.

Let's hear some ride reports (once you get some sleep of course.) :D

Hi Mike! If you need any help on routing for next year, or just want to get rid of that FJR and have me build you a real rally bike, let me know. ;-)

I must need routing help or something I only came in at around mid pak. 17 th overall.

That pic of my FJR was at check in before the rally. It sure had plenty of bug guts at the end.

Nothing wrong with that. Besides, that means you could join us in the

Top of the Bell Curve Rally Team!

(a little thing dreamed up by a Sprint ST rider and me after a series of midpack finishes  )

We're not ashamed to finish in the middle. :yahoo:

Nice to see you again Smitty, been awhile. Nice to meet you Mike, good ride on your part also.

Sharm (my SO) hung right in there and never once complained, except when we had to miss 410 points or be DNF`d :glare:

This was her first rally over 12hrs.

I am sorry to report that due to taking a new job, and therefore loss of vacation time, I am out for this year.
