I started out with the "classic" Yamaha DT 50 that all the kids had, and from there progressed to the Honda NSR 50 a few months later. A few months after that, a Yamaha DT 125 and eventually I graduated to a Yamaha XT 600.
Later on, and since I started taking it to the dirt less and less so I traded in for a Yamaha XJ 600N.
In the mean time I bought a crashed vintage Kawasaki Z1300 that had been sitting in a junkyard for a couple of years and restored it (it took almost 3 years). My first serious motorcycle project B)
While all that was happening, I traded the XJ600 for a Kawasaki ZZR-1100, and a little while later bought my first new bike since the DT50, this time a Yamaha XJR1300.
Fast forward to almost three years later, the Z1300 is up and running and out the door she goes because the FJR is about to join the family.
So, for the past few months I've been riding the XJR, the FJR and the Kawasaki. Sadly, the XJR was destroyed in an accident a few weeks ago, so now the family is down to 2 bikes again. If I win the lottery, there'll be a MV Agusta Brutale Gladio in my future
