Sorry to be so boring, but the ONLY place on my bucket list is The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland.
Wow!

Um, I'm not even sure how to respond. I mean, I went there and it was a total letdown. I felt like asking for my money back. It was excactly like being at Hard Rock Cafe except they didn't serve me a cold burger and stale fries.

Here's my top 3 places I have no desire in ever going to.

1. Flint, MI

2. Las Vegas, NV

3. Anywhere in the Middle East
Petra, Israel, Jordan, Iraq (Mesopotamia), the middle east is FULL of incredible sights to see, history dating back to the very dawn of civilization, some beautiful roads, and incredible geography! The middle east is DEFFINITELY on my bucket list (on the GSA of course)! I'd be willing to wager you're just as likely, if not more, to get robbed and killed in Mexico as you are in the middle east but MOST people on here can't seem to wait to take that trip.

Also, I'd LOVE to ride all of Europe and across Mongolia. There are 3 for now...Prudho Bay, AK, to Tiera del Fuego is for the bonus round.

Alaska

Patagonia/Tierra del Fuego

and all points in between with the time to really take them in.

You left out a word. All fixed now, though.

REALLY? I was expecting a boundless mecca of R&R goodies full of history, and vintage paraphanalia. Sounds completly disappointing :( They make it sound as if you could spend days going through all of it, when I finally got there I was planning on buying the 2 or 3 day pass. Is the place really small, and you just breezed through, or did you take your time and read and check everything out? I will surly drop it off my bucket list if it sucks that much :angry2:

1. Tour the Grand Canyon area with wifey on the bike.

2. Isle of Mann (preferably during the TT, but just to walk the hallowed roads would be enough)

3. Swiss alps maybe, or another area as such.

The nice thing about Bucket List destinations is that we can pick/choose per our own personal likings. We're all so different and have different tastes & interests. Fortunately there is enough variety to go around to make everybody happy.

Deserts, sand, scorching hot & dry conditions & brown colored landscapes do nothing for me. I'm always drawn to lush greenery. Also all of the Biblical lands do nothing for me as well. I had religion shoved down my throat as a child and quite frankly I don't want anything to do with it or it's origins. So the whole history part of the trip to anywhere in the Middle East would be lost on me.

You go check out the Gaza Strip & Jerusalem and I'll be chilling in a hot-tub on a snow covered peak in Switzerland at 8,000' overlooking a green valley meadow in the distance below! :D But to each his own as they say. ;)

Anyone wonder why the hell it's in Cleveland?

Apparently because the term "Rock and Roll" was first uttered on the radio in Cleveland by Alan Freed.

Who was obviously one cool dude.

I wonder if he kept a bullet in his pocket?

patch308: Great minds think alike! I don't know if I will live long enough to complete all of the items on Papa Chuy's Bucket List, because I am as old as dirt and two days younger than Niehart! But my good BMW R1150GS Adventure Riding Irish Friend Seamus MacTreinfhir is always after me to ride Oman with him; starting in the U.A.E.!

Seamus has every thing arranged for Oman including picking up our KTM's in Abu Dhabi, entry/exit Visas for Oman and routings already laid out to see the best of Oman.

PS: Bring your mangy *** sorry brother HotRodZilla along with you in case we are surrounded by Omani Bandits, we'll just put lipstick on him and a dress then hand AJ over to them as we make our getaway!

All of the lower 48 states on the FJR and the time to enjoy the best parts.

Similarly for Europe (countries instead of states).

Similarly for Australia and NZ.

As long as I can make it to bathroom to pee, the fridge to take food and walk to the shop to get on the bike I'll be happy. Weather to head down to town to get something at the hardware store or follow one of my NW compadre's around the hood or to go find Ranald MacDonalds grave. Life is good!

The Isle of Man TT would be cool.

The Arctic Circle.

Or any little black top road would do.
