EDIT: https://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/pr...pertyCode=05345 This is our designated hotel for Sunday night, March 28. This is a recommendation from Old Michael O'Keeffe. OM said that when you are checking in and they ask if you would like anything else: "Ask for either Carlita, Lupe or Leticia!!!"

EDIT: This is the Super 8 in Torrance that Fairlaner - R recommends for Monday night, March 29. https://www.super8.com/Super8/control/Booki...se&tab=tab2

On March 27: Papa Chuy, SkooterG and Big-D are riding over to Temecula to meet up with a Ducati Museum Tour at Doffo Winery, organized by Neil San Diego. To be followed by a sedate (yeah, right!) cruise up Palomar Mountain with Mr. Toad leading us on his Wild Ride (Mr. Toad would naturally be Richard - Fairlaner)!

johnny80s has invited Skoot and I to stay at his home in Fallbrook for Saturday night; I am sure Juan can recommend a Fallbrook motel for everybody else.

All of Neil and Mr. Toad's Saturday ride information is on the thread below; please ignore a **** erotic picture that SkooterG and FJRBluesman posted there.

Zonie game plan would be to meet Big-D from Lake Havasu City, marcusorelius and GalaxyBlue at the Denny's in Blythe at 0530 for breakfast; winery by 9.

Sunday morning we would roll out of Fallbrook heading for the Big Sur Twisties on California Highway One; meet Don "dcarver" Carver at Noon in Morro Bay.

Spend Sunday night in Monterey, somewhere near the waterfront. Cruise back down 1 to Torrance; Fairlaner recommended a nearby hotel I have stayed at.

After spending Monday night at the hotel near Richard's house; have breakfast with R and then ride back to our homes in AZ. Please RSVP to Papa ChuyM.

https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?showtopic=125608 If anyone's familiar with Monterey and has a hotel suggestion for Sunday, please post it here.

Lets ride!
Beemerdons, we're going to have an interesting meeting. ;) :p   :p  :D
Sounds great Bluesy, sure hope you can make this ride up to Monterey with us! I spoke with Richard-Fairlaner at length on the phone last night; he'll take on the task of finding us a place to stay in Monterey for Sunday night. Spoke to Greg "SkooterG" Marbach last night also, and like ususal, he'll not commit until the last minute; just like last July, when he finally decided to ride with me to WFO in Moscow, ID: Only 10 days before WFO, luckily Kaitsdad was cool with our late signup.

I'll get on the phone today and start calling my Fellow Zonies and start twisting their arms: Tucson Joe, marcusorelius, GalaxyBlue; Big-D is already signed on for this!

Pretty cool how what starts as a fairly simple ride to visit a Ducati museum, quickly turns into a ride up the California coast with as many as 25 riders. Throw in three overnight stays, with a little more effort, we'll have an annual ride. All we need is a name!

Not sure if it's already been settled, but in Monterey, I'd very humbly suggest the Groovy Best Western De Anza Inn. It's reasonably priced (for a BW) and in a great location.

I'm told a traveler can walk to many local eateries and watering holes, and stumble back to this "boutique" motel.

(There's a cool carp koi pond in the lobby, so if you bring your George Foreman grill, and you're quick-handed, you might enjoy a fish fry in your room. Just a thought. I know you boys have appetites.)

I hope to join y'all for at least part of this "adventure".

Ok I am thinking HERE they have rates as low as $72.00 for the night of the 28th.

Let me know what you think and book away.

Fairlaner: Perhaps we should first wait for Old Michael and Dr. Rich to review this; to give us a rating on the quality of hookers and strip clubs in the adjoining areas.

you are joking right?

R
Don NEVER jokes!
News Flash, OM! Just got the word that there is a new *** tape out starring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and our very own FJR Forum "Italian Stallion" - johnny80s!

"Jersey Shore Goombhette" and Juan are hooked up in a scorcher titled "DAY-GLO **** Desire"; it's distributed by Guido Boy Productions of Hackensack, NJ

The early reviews state that there's fluorescent body paint, coupled with Gallo Salami's; plus one scene shows them getting it on in a hot tub filled with pasta!

I thought about making my reservations for the SoCal Winery/ Ducati museum ride in March, but I wanted to make sure I've got everything straight.

Saturday night March 27: I need a hotel in Fallbrook for one (1) night?

Sunday night March 28: I need a hotel room for one night in Monterey? Are we staying where OM suggested Best Western De Anza Inn in Monterey?

Monday night March 29: I need to make a reservation in Torrance, CA near Richard's house? Where at in Torrance?

I need to know so I can program my GPS!! :buba: Who in the hell uses maps anymore anyway? :buba:
