Merry Christmas!

My appologies if this has been covered a gazzilion times. I did do a search, but no luck.

I have a Zumo 550 and Santa brought a Sena SMH10 system. I normally bluetooth my ipone 4s to the Zumo, I've paired the Sena to the Zumo and the process was normal. My problem is that I dont hear anything from the Zumo. GPS, MP3 or phone calls. I also attempted the "selective pairing" to the Zumo and same issue. I hear nothing. I'm a tech dummy, so any thoughts would be appreciated. Many thanks!!

Visit the Sena site under support. They have some very helpful step by step processes. You tube is also a friend.

Thank you, graler. I've You Tubed and been on the Sena site and still no luck. I'm probably missing something very simple.

I figured it out! There is an Audio select function on the Zumo that needs to be in the correct mode. I'm thinking the wired mode for MP3 stereo and the base so I can use my ear buds are going to be needed! Thanks again!!

I use my Zumo Sena combination for the Directions from the Zumo and phone calls and still wear my ER6I Mushroom ear buds for the tunes from MP3. Works good that way, can tune either out that I don't want to hear.

Dang!! I'm still having issues with this setup!! Fully admitting that I'm a tech idiot when it comes to this stuff. If someone is willing to offer assistance please PM me. Many thanks in advance!!!

Hello Panman, so your using the Sena speakers and the earbuds? I really wish one of these manufactures would make it so you can just plug in your own speakers 'earbuds" and everything would be so much easier.

The Sena SMH-A0303 is a replacement boom for the SMH-10 which allows you to connect your own earbuds. The main Sena website is unavailable right now, so here's an Amazon link to this item:

I ditched the MP3 and phone thoughts through the Zumo to the Sena. I loaded up my iphone with all my favorite tunes and so far this is working great! The sound quality is fantastic using my Eytomic buds. Now, I need to think about a RAM mount for my phone. Thanks again!

I used an old Otter Box and made a mount out of Ram base. Working great so far!!

Wish I could have helped but I'm having similar issues in that I can hear the phone caller crystal clear in the SMH5 speakers but the caller cannot hear me!

Phone is paired obviously as the call comes through and I can 'answer' it, but audio not going the other way. BTW FWIW I can answer and talk to caller on the gps but as that doesn't pair to the Sena anyway it doesn't help.

So Hawkerpit, are you now able to make and receive calls via the Sena and are they patched through the Zumo?

Thought this was going to be straightforward too.

I gave up on making phone calls through the Zumo to the Sena. I had to switch the Zumo bluetooth settings between "phone only" and "navigation,MP3 and phone" based on phone use or music streaming. I'm going straight from the iPhone to Sena now for both calls and music. That is working fine. The only thing coming out of Zumo is navigation commands. I used the ram mount that came with the Zumo and a Otter Box to make a cradle for the iPhone. The Zumo is on a Tech Mount.

Happy New Year!!!
