My cradle had the rubber rot, right up to the point it went back to Garmin when it stopped working.

The new cradle does not suffer the rubber rot, but the pressure fit does not work.

I am going to figure out a fix sometime in the next week.

Question guys...The tech mount for the Zumo that goes where the steering nut is, do you remove the original steering nut or is there a trick to it???

Thanks FHAZE is there a trick to taking out the nut? any issues I should be worried about?

36mm socket, breaker bar. that about does it. torque wrench to put the new nut on (search for stem nut torque and you'll find it)
