I want to buy one to use in both car and motorcycle. Any idea which is the best VALUE??

Read about the Garmin 2610, but there're A TON for sale on Ebay, and not surprisingly, ALL are refurbished, meaning something is wrong with those things; probably the touch-screen feature. I want the most useful features, as long as they're reliable. Sold my cars with navigation, and all kinds of farkles, and am back to more simple cars. Same with bikes. That's why I sold my BMW, and am on an FJR now. Other than the fueling issues, which I'm dealing with successfully so far, it should be much more reliable than a beemer. Later gang.

My cell phone doesn't have coverage in many of the places I'd like a GPS. In fact, in a lot of the areas, there is no cell coverage.

I have had a 2610 for about 2 years and I bought it refurbished. No problems at all. I think maybe the reason for so many refurbished is that it was one of their top sellers.

I just bought a Zumo 550 because it can be used on the bike or in the car. It is smaller and lighter than the 2610. I had put the 2610 on my goldwing before, it is a little large.

I bought it from the Amazon.com site.
