Some few month ago ZZkenoman was riding his FJR and was taken out by a cager. He was seriously injured and is recovering nicely. I am a subscriber of the epicurean riders site. ZZkenoman sent out the following note to the list yesterday:

"Hi folks, sorry haven't been on the board for a while, just too many things happening besides just the recovery of my injury. Its been a slow process but a positive one, now using the cane very little and taking less and less medications at night for the inflammation. However over the last 3 weekends I have been visiting dealerships and have been practicing putting a leg over several bikes, unfortunately my weak thigh muscles causes great cramps, so its pretty frustrating after achieving getting on the bike, I have to rush to get off before the cramps get worse....lol

Also as a announcement, I will be moving from orange county to the midwest for a interim period, to be with family after the lost of my dad this last week. May will be my last month being here in orange county, eventually settling somewhere in colorado or maybe new mexico depending on where the best roads are for the yellow BRP Spyder I will be on. Before that I hope to get my zx-14 this week if barry and I can fit on his bike!

For the Epicurean Board, I will try to hold on to the account for all to enjoy, hopefully there will be more contributors and supporters to help.

Thanks everyone for all the encouraging emails and phone calls, I hope that I can cross paths on the backroads and meet again one day,or sitting across the same table at your favorite epicurean place to eat! Keep in touch, ride safe and please post your eateries.

Sincerely,

Larry

Geezer,

I got the same message last night. I had no idea he was in an accident. Larry, if you're listening, good luck with your recovery and re-location. Hopefully you'll still be hangin' out over here and be sure to let us know where you wind up. Great roads in both states!

I've been wondering about ZZ. Man, that was a while back. I am glad his recovery is going well, but it is coming hard-earned.
