Today was one of those days I was in a funk. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed, somebody pissed in my Wheaties, PMS..... I don't know - something! I was a moody bastard in a bad mood.

So, I decided to take a ride to one my favorite mexican restaurants in Gila Bend - Sofia's. A nice 80 mile ride to this establishment on a gorgeous, sunny day in the 70s. Between the ride and the fine grub it did the trick. There was a grin going inside the helmet on the return trip along Old US 80.

And on the return I hit an FJR odometer milestone. Had to pull off to the side of I-10 in heavy traffic to get the pic, but hey, anything for you dear reader.

So here it is...............

Waddaya think?

This is the first time in my life I have ever put anything near this kind of miles on any vehicle I have ever owned. The Dirty Ol Whore has been a hell of a bike. I've not been kind to her, but she's been great to me.

I guess you never really know about these things, can't anticipate them, but I am willing to wager that I will never see that odometer reading again on ANY vehicle I will ever own.

Life is good. :)

In today's news here in Phoenix... SkooterG was hit by a truck on the side of the freeway while taking pictures of his odometer. When the squished skooter was asked why he was taking pix of his odo, he replied, "I had to show the guys"....

In other news, FJRForum members in Las Vegas are dressed to the nines in new Sport Touring apparel…..

Seriously, congrats Greg. Those are some miles. :yahoo:

Very cool, pissy-pants! Tx for taking the pix. Can you imagine how many times those pistons have gone up and done, each valve closed, number of bearing rotations? Truly amazing, especially given some of the long distance high rpm running you've been known to do...

Congrats on the milestone.

200k on any ride; promotes the owner/operator to status of "Wisdom Rider", now you have Trump Status on all questions concerning products and procedures.

The sextuplet deuces is icing on the cake.

Cool.....
How long until we see 333333?

R
I would guess in about 111,111 miles ...

Sorry ,, just couldn't help myself ,,, and it's Friday ,,, :yahoo: :clapping: :yahoo:

Damn,,, I've never even had a car with that kind of mileage ,,, interesting...

Holy Mackeral! Congrats on having the stamina to rack up that kind of mileage. One question all of us enquiring minds want answered though.......How many of those miles were at legal speed?

Congrats! I hope to see that my self. ( in oh 8-10 years) 185,000 to go!

Nice to know we own a bike that is capable of reaching that kind of mileage.

That's incredible mileage. Can you tell us if you have replaced any non routine maintenance items?

Stator, RR, Chain, Tensioner, Fuel Pump, Ujoints, wheel bearings, things like that.

Mi Bueno Hijo, Excelente Compadre! Greg, that's truly an outstanding accomplishment and you deserve a big pat on the back! Niehart's right, that's your new avatar!
