    PowerCommander, is it really worth it?

    Try the "Carb-Sim" MAP. It richens-up the low-end rpm's(idle on up) where you feel most of the heat. The FJR's fuel has been leaned-out on the low end to meet EPA standards, the "Carb-Sim" fixes that and the surge.

    Determined to make trailering FJR simple...

    I've trailered my 2005 FJR many times using Canyon Dancer straps. Never had a lick of trouble. I also used two straps in the back. B) I don't claim to have any special technique, but whatever I'm doing, it works. Go figure!

    Side stand resting plate

    I guess in situations like that you could always just use the center-stand, it's far more stable anyway. Sure beats dumpster-diving!!!

    '06 Gear Indicator

    Hey Fred! What is that Up/Down knob under the tach? Is it some kind of a vent control, or a new switch for raising-n-lowering the windshield?

    06 front end 'clunk'

    I doubt if it's the stem nut. The 04/05 manual tells you how to check for looseness by jacking your bike up till the front tire is off the ground. Then grab the forks at the bottom and try to move them back-n-forth. If the nut is loose you'll know. I say brakes.... IMHO.
