    Sunday Morning Rides

I just came across this website and thought I would share. It is absolutely awsome! I downloaded about 20 routes from GA, TN, SC and AL. Can't wait to try them out. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: SundayMorningRides

Fantastic! :clapping: Looks like everyone had a great time. Thanks for sharing.

    Foggy Mountain Ride

This ride report was posted under the original ride announcement, but upon the request of some of the ride participants, I have created a new thread as an official "ride report". We all had a great time and everybody made it home safely. We almost earned a performance award, but I guess the cop...

Nobody got a performance award, but I passed a Super Trooper on Richard Russell while dragging a peg in mid turn. He appeared to be very interrested, but he didn't have a lot of time or anyplace to turn around. Berde was behind me, and I know he was feelin' it too because he was staying right...

Berde, I think you need to get some rest. The above sentence, if you can call it that, makes no since at all. If you are as tired as I am that is most understandable. Ya'll missed a good ride.

Ok, here it is...I'm calling it the Foggy Bottom Boys (and girl) Ride. This is Fort Mountain just after 10:00 am this morning. It was like pea soup, but not nearly as bad as when I came over it a few weeks ago on the Fried Pie Ride. Now, here is Fort Mountain at about 5:00 pm...

We thought that was you. We pulled over and waited for a while, but you didn't turn around. We were hoping you would join us. We all had a great time and everyone came back safely. Ride report with pics to follow.

    Dunlop Roadsmart

Ordered a set of Dunlops today. I hope they handle as well as the B021's that are on now, but last longer. Seems to me that the tire manufactures are trying to provide longevity and performace with the dual compounds, but they still haven't quite figured it out. Unfortunately, we still must...

Not sure how many will come. You just never know. Yes I have riden with Berde before. He rides slow, but I respect the fact that he has the maturity to know his limitations. The goal is to have fun, enjoy the ride and come home when it's over. Looking forward to it.

Not a problem. We will wait on you. If Berde is riding with us tomorrow, you will have company back there. HaHa! Seriously. I can't stress it enough RIDE YOUR RIDE!

    Planning on lunch at TWO.

Johnny, When riding with any group, everyone should "ride their own ride". If you are the fastest, I certainly don't want to keep you from having fun so I will let you pass. Just wait for us at the next turn. If you are the slowest, you will not be left behind. We will wait at every turn. As...

Mrs. Twisty and I will be at the store on the corner of Hwy. 52 and Hwy. 2 in Chattsworth near Fort Mountain at 10:00 am Sunday morning. We will probably ride the route shown below, but that could change depending on popular consensus. Anyone interested in joining, please do.

    Chrome Oil Filter Cover

Chrome will definitely make it faster...and loud pipes too...ooo,ooo, and you need some speakers to mount into the faring so you can annoy everyone around you with whatever crappy music you listen to.

    N Ga/Atlanta area

I will probably be heading that way Sunday also...not sure yet, but if I do I'll give you a call.

FJR a bit fat for the Dual Compound Front Tires??

I have the 021's on right now, but they are about to be replaced with Diablo Strata's. The 021's are MUCH better than the 020's that came on the bike. The 021'a are great performers, but they don't last very long. I have about 4500 miles on them and they are gone. At least the front and rear...

    Caution with new tires........

I just don't see how the guy can blame the tires when it is OBVIOUSLY the wife's fault.

    Jerez qualifying take 2

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! Mere mortals would have crashed. Thanks for the pics...AWSOME!! :clapping: Wish we could get the practice rounds over here.

Big thanks to Mr & Mrs. Twisty

The pleasure was all ours. Glad I could help. I like working on 'em almost as much as riding 'em. Too bad it rained while you were here...really wanted to show you the little gem I call the "Misty Mountain Hop" near our house. We will take that ride soon, I'm sure. Don't be a stranger.
