I am interested in the new Triumph Speedmaster which is due in March 2018. It has cruise control standard. However it has tubed tires which might not be good for touring.

I have been told that 2001 and 2002 Harleys have Timken bearings. But Harley changed to "Caged" bearings 2003 and forward.

I have been looking at the Harley Low Rider S and Yamaha's Raider. The Low Rider S has more tech such as cruise control, security and abs, also a 6th gear. However if Yamaha updates their Raider next year with their new 113 engine all this would change. Harley makes some nice bikes.

Some riders have pressed the rear brake unknowingly and disconnected the cruise control.

On Yamaha's website there is no 2016 FZ-1 listed. Could this mean a FZ-10 (with cruise, traction control and R1 motor) is on the way?

I think the purpose of the taller seat is to provide a more upright seating position. It is going to be interesting to see if this bike sells well. The FJ-09 is priced 31% higher than the FZ-09 yet the FJ-09 has neither cruise control nor heated seat as options. I think the FJ-09 would sell...

Be sure to tell Laam that you plan to ride 600 mile days. He may build the seat according to use.
