Had the Yamaha shop change out the fork seals and replace fork oil. Now the forks shake and wobble if I take my hands off the bars. Would be completely out of control if I didn't grab hold. This is new. The Yamaha shop is going to argue, so would appreciate any insights re what may have happened.

I could love my '08 FJR if not for the drive shaft noise. For that reason alone I would never buy a FJR again. What's with Yamaha? Everyone else can make silent drive shafts and Yamaha has been making this model for a long time -- certainly long enough to figure out the problem.

I asked a couple of months ago -- how to search the forum for a specific topic. Someone was kind enough to answer with a way to use a search engine to find all topic mentions in the forum. Then I let a friend use my computer and he erased all my emails. Sure could use that info again.

Just bought an 08 FJR. I've removed the tail bag until the first trip and wonder if there is a panel that finishes off the area where the tail bag's connection plate bolts . Dealer says no, but it looks pretty unfinished. Thanks
