I'm sending my Chatterbox in for a review. I think the issue I had the other day (it made a loud "squeal" when I keyed it up) was probably operator-error. I don't think I had a full charge when I started the ride so when the battery started to run low, it was having difficulty finding enough...

Fizzy, one thing I did learn from Chatterbox is that the GMRS X1 uses different frequencies on Channels 8+. If everyone else is using FRS radios they'll need to keep them tuned to channel 7 or below for it to work. Just an FYI... -Mike

Nice ride guys. Next Sunday I'll be at a Superbowl party so I'll catch you guys on a future ride. Here's a couple of shots from yesterday: Jim, Larry, and Mike Gas is "only" about $3.00/gallon. It's a sellers market out where we were. Plenty of dirt bikes and our dirty bikes.

Yep! Definitely a great ride. My only complaint last time was freezing my butt off as we went through the mountains. Hopefully things will heat up a bit this weekend...

You can come with your Schwinn but I think you're going to need a Cee Bailey windshield first and probably add a playing card to the spokes so you get that nice FJR sound. So far, the 28th is looking good for me to participate though it has been quite cold lately...
